About HTR
HTR BV Rubber and Foam, also still registered under the original name Hoogerdijk BV Technical Rubber, was founded in 1953 by Mr H.W. Hoogerdijk.
After leading the company for 30 years, he sold the business to a financing company in 1983. Bert Jan Wits, formerly of Monroe Schokbrekers, was appointed director by this company. Two years later in 1985, he acquired the firm from the financing company. He laid the foundation for HTR in its current form, focusing on added value, customer-oriented solutions and higher levels of knowledge and quality.
Ferry van de Pasch, our current director, embarked on his first serious sales role with us in June 1990. He progressed within HTR to become an area sales manager and worked with the company until December 1996. He then spread his wings to develop his career internationally, but this extensive experience taught him that his heart lay with HTR.
After further developing his career, he returned to the fold at the end of 2004 and took over the firm from Mr Wits on 1 January 2005. Now, with Ferry van de Pasch at the helm, our organisation has not only expanded and grown in recent decades, but we have particularly focused on increasing our knowledge and skills.
To reach our current level, we have invested heavily in education and training for our staff and in quality improvement, optimisation, digitisation and automation of our processes.
We have also established our own laboratory in Eindhoven.
As of 2024, HTR Rubber and Foam has 3 locations:
- HTR BV Rubber and Foam: HQ, production, service centre and laboratory;
- HTR Deutschland GmbH: sales organisation for German business contacts;
- HTR Rubber (India) Pvt in Delhi: production and service centre.
HTR is not only ISO 9001:2015 certified but also IATF 16949:2016 certified, one of the most stringent international automotive standards worldwide.
HTR is not limited to rubber and/or plastic foam products but also serves clients by creating the ultimate design within the most optimal specifications.
HTR has five different product groups, giving us complete freedom in our design possibilities.
The combination of various materials from these five different product groups allows for an extensive range of possibilities and combinations. This unique situation makes HTR a very flexible organisation with extremely versatile technical capabilities for combining materials, logically far exceeding the offerings of other typical manufacturers.
