Quality

In 2023, quality should be a given. Quality is fully guaranteed at HTR Rubber and Foam by every individual employee, all production processes, all administrative processes and our way of thinking and doing.
​HTR Rubber and Foam is not only ISO 9001:2015 certified but is also one of the small select group of companies that are IATF 16949:2016 certified (the globally recognised, most stringent automotive certification).
​When HTR Rubber and Foam explored the possibilities and content for IATF 16949 certification, we immediately recognised what this system could mean for our clients and ourselves if implemented correctly, and decided to introduce it as standard throughout the organisation.

Each individual employee in each department is trained in this, understands the system and grasps its benefits. For example, all projects at HTR begin within a digitised and automated APQP process, where all important data is mapped, all CTQs (Critical to Quality) are determined in consultation with the customer and all FMEAs applicable to this project are activated.
HTR’s performance has significantly improved, as seen in the low number of customer complaints we receive each year.

​Proof of this is that HTR Rubber and Foam has won the 10 PPM AWARD from PACCAR (DAF) 14 times in the 15 years this award has existed!

The qualitative performance of our products naturally has a major influence on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of products.

This applies not only to product quality but also to the quality of our support in designing the right shape and most optimal specifications, with a keen eye for fitness for use, lifespan, fast assembly and functionality.

Our newest production plant in India was ISO 9001 certified within just a few months.

We are working hard to have this factory IATF 16949 certified in 2024.
